Dr. Manny Herrera was born in Havana, Cuba and will be joining our Jacksonville, FL center. He speaks English and Spanish and is currently on a quest to be trilingual by learning Portuguese. His wife, Katie, is a midwife and Nurse Practitioner. They have three children – Kensi, who will be starting middle school soon, Christopher, who just started medical school, and Sebastian, who is working towards his business degree.

When not operating, Dr. Herrera loves all competitive sports and outdoor activities. He enjoys playing beach volleyball with family and friends, but especially with his family. Jet Skiing is his favorite activity.

Dr. Herrera’s medical philosophy is to give the best of himself to every patient every day. He is blessed with a love and passion for the medical profession. He understands it offers him a unique opportunity to help and care for others and he is always looking for an opportunity to learn from everyone.
