James M. Sheridan, MD
Dr. Sheridan is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in Chicago, IL. Prior to medical school, Dr. Sheridan attended the University of Illinois in Urbana, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
Dr. Sheridan went on to complete his internship and second-year residency in general surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL, followed by a third and fourth year residencies in general surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center and a fifth-year at St Vincent Catholic Medical Centers (Manhattan), both of which are in New York, NY.
Dr. Sheridan went on to pursue yet another residency in Plastic Surgery, attending New York Presbyterian Hospital (Cornell Campus), also in New York, NY.
Dr. Sheridan is a well-respected Surgeon in New York and is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Sheridan’s medical philosophy is to focus on giving each patient an individualized treatment plan, designed to meet their specific and individual needs.
In Dr. Sheridan’s free time he enjoys photography and cycling. A fun fact about Dr. Sheridan; he once performed reconstructive surgery on a stallion.
