Analise Anderson, MD, FACS
Dr. Anderson was born in Jackson, Mississippi while her father was in surgical residency and her mother was in law school. She grew up in a blended family and is the oldest of 12 children! She married Patrick Anderson on a perfect hurricane day in Rosemary Beach, FL in 2021. They now have two children and two dogs together. Dr. Anderson understands conversational Spanish and speaks English. When not operating, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with her two young children, reading, cooking, wine tasting, and traveling! Her favorite charity is Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as she has several family members with Type 1 Diabetes.
Dr. Anderson has been honored or awarded many times throughout her career including Duke Team Excellence Award, Best Microsurgical Anastomosis (Duke-Hopkins Oncologic Reconstruction and Microsurgery Course), Duke Star Service Award, Association of Women Surgeons STARR Award, UNC Public Service Scholar, US Presidential Scholar, and more. Dr. Anderson’s Medical Philosophy is to always strive to treat her patients like she would want a surgeon to treat her family. She truly enjoys collaborating with her patients on individualized plans to help them achieve their goals and become a better version of themselves. She particularly loves taking care of mamas as helping them feel more like themselves after creating life is an incredible gift!
