Samuel J. Mucci, MD

Dr. Mucci is dual Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Plastic Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. In addition, he has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, where he graduated with Cum Laude honors.

Dr. Mucci completed a residency in General Surgery at University of Toledo (Formerly the Medical College of Ohio) in Toledo, OH and a Plastic Surgery residency at Johns Hopkins/University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD, where he was Chief Plastic Surgery Resident in his final year. Dr. Mucci has completed craniofacial, maxillofacial and microsurgery fellowships (for face, head and jaw) at the Shock Trauma Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Mucci is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Michigan State Medical Society, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Oakland County Medical Society.

Dr. Mucci’s medical philosophy is to provide consistent, high quality medical care that meets or exceeds his patient’s expectations.

In Dr. Mucci’s spare time he enjoys skiing, running, sporting clays and coaching lacrosse. His favorite charity is Community Housing Network in Troy, MI.
