Nicole Martinez, MD

Dr. Nicole Martinez obtained her medical degree from University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She did her internship and residency in General Surgery at Atlantic Health at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey in affiliation with Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York.

Dr. Martinez completed fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Martinez then completed advanced training and is certified in the Da Vinci Surgical Robotics System where she successfully performed many advanced robotic surgical cases. She also completed a second Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Body Contouring through Sono Bello’s Aesthetic Fellowship Program in Norfolk, Virginia.

Dr. Martinez is currently Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is a current active member of Professional Organizations that include Fellow American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and Fellow of American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Martinez’s medical philosophy is to be honest with patients and let them know that she cares. She aims to give patients the best possible results with each surgery, and she tries to treat patients as if they were one of her family members or personal friends.

When she is not operating, she enjoys spending time with her son. She loves to exercise and the outdoors. She loves traveling, the mountains, skiing, camping, hiking, and biking. She is also an avid scuba diver. Dr. Martinez enjoys all types of music and movies as well.
