Christopher Chung, MD
Dr. Christopher Chung joined Aesthetic Physicians in 2009 and as the Chief Medical Officer, he has remained committed to his primary objective: advocacy for patients and surgeons to ensure our team delivers safe and effective surgical treatments. Wanting to be a part of something bigger and make a difference beyond individual patients, Dr. Chung has been integral in developing the Aesthetics Fellowship as an opportunity for surgeons from other disciplines to master a suite of procedures and begin their journey to a rewarding career and an improved work-life balance.
Dr. Chung is known for providing mentorship and guidance to his peers. He works diligently to ensure that surgeons who join this practice have the most advanced education, access to the latest technology and the guidance they need to make a positive impact on their patients’ lives.
An experienced surgeon, Dr. Chung has completed more than 10,000 procedures. He is fully trained in general surgery with a fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery from the University of California, San Diego. He is also board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
When he is not training the next generation of cosmetic surgeons, he enjoys the outdoors, tennis, and fictional writing. Dr. Chung is married to an emergency medicine physician and has three children that keep him busy.
