Owen Johnson III, MD

Dr. Owen Johnson III is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He obtained his undergraduate degree from John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He then completed his medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Dr. Johnson III completed his internship and first residency in General Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

He completed a second residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University of Medicine.

He did additional fellowship trainings in CMF, Facial Plastic Surgery, Head and Neck Microsurgery at the John Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Johnson III further completed two more fellowships. One in Oculoplastic Surgery at Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea. Another, in Vascular Surgery at Washington DC Virginia Medical Center.

Dr. Johnson III is a well-respected surgeon due to his skill and commitment to grow. He believes it’s important to be open-minded to better ways of doing things.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, playing and watching sports, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Johnson III is also an experienced pilot who provides charity flights for groups like the animal rescue organization, “Pilots N Paws.”
