
Maureen Muecke, MD
Dr. Muecke is double Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She obtained her medical degree from University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, WI. and prior to medical school, she attended the University of Southern California, completing her Bachelor of Science with Cum Laude honors.
Dr. Muecke completed an internship in General Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA., then went on to finish a four-year residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Tulane University.
Dr. Muecke has devoted countless hours of service to her community and in 1996 she began serving victims of domestic violence by becoming an active participant in the “Face to Face” Domestic Violence Program, which provides a pro bono program offering reconstructive surgery for victims of domestic violence.
Dr. Muecke is active in animal rescue where she aids abandoned, abused and stray pets giving love, shelter, food and veterinary care when needed. In her free time Dr. Muecke enjoys
scuba diving, hiking and travel.
