Dr. Carlos Rivera-Serrano is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and by the American Board of Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from Escuela Colombiana De Medicina. He did a residency in Otolaryngology / Head and Neck surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He also completed a residency in Plastic surgery at the University of Florida. Dr. Rivera-Serrano did fellowship training in Craniofacial Surgery / Microsurgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He did additional fellowship training in Reconstructive Microsurgery – Breast and Perforator Flaps, at Ghent University Hospital in Belgium Dr. Rivera-Serrano’s medical philosophy is Safety First and aim for natural results. When Dr. Rivera-Serrano is not operating, he enjoys exercising and biking.
